At Lee Laboratory of Nagoya Institute of Technology, we are developing research on Spoken Language Processing technologies and Human-Oriented Intelligent Speech Interface. Our research topic involves:

  • Speech recognition, namely on decoding
  • Spoken dialogue system
  • Conversational speech interface
  • Social media and user-based contents creation, related with spoken dialogue system
  • Human-agent interaction

Both academic and practical sides of speech recognition system are within our research perspective equally. We are developing open-source tools “Julius” and “MMDAgent” for the purposes.

This lab was forked from Tokuda and Nankaku lab since 2013, and we are in tight collaboration with them now.
